Gujaratonweb: 06 Oct, 2017, Prior to the assembly elections, the BJP government of Gujarat has announced the formation of an educational-economic development corporation of 600 crore rupees for the survey of 57 disadvantaged sections of the population, including the reservation of the people and the prosperity of these people.

Apart from this, the use of force during Patidar Maharally will also be judicially examined. At the same time, the government will consider withdrawing cases of sedition lodged against Hardik Patel and others for ending the reservation agitation by the Patidars. Minister of State for Home Pradeep Singh Jadeja said that the judicial commission has been set up to investigate the police suppression on the Patidars. The High Court's retired judge will be the chairman of the Apex inquiry commission. The Commission will examine the incident of police force use on 25 August 2015 and later on the Patidars in different cities and villages.

On 26th September, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel had agreed on these major demands during the discussions with the officials of the six-party organizations and the Patidar Reservation Movement Committee and the officials of Sardar Patel Group. Jadeja said that the Commission, seeking the educational and economic status of the 57 castes of the deprived state, would work for the benefit of the public and state public schemes. For the non-reserved castes, the government will form an educational and economic development corporation which will help the youth of this class in employment, higher education etc. Apart from this, the farmers, livestock, laborers and craftsmen will also be provided financial help to increase the employment. Along with this, the families of these sections will make the housing, electricity, water priority and skill development centers for the youth.

Jadeja said that the government has decided to withdraw the 109 cases filed against Patidar Youth. Earlier, the government has already decided to withdraw the trial of 109 cases. After discussions with experts from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Law Ministry, the rest of the cases pending in the state government will also be withdrawn soon.
